During the period 1965 to 1997, ARM focused its engineering activities on the design, development, manufacture and sales of devices for coupling agricultural tractors to trailer implements. The company sold over 195,000 units to 30 tractor marques. The coupling devices were sold directly to tractor manufacturers in the UK and Europe and through the agricultural dealer network in the UK.
